What is the cost?
Our evaluations are conducted in 2-1 hour sessions in order to thoroughly get to know you and understand all the factors contributing to the current issues. The initial appointment is 60 minutes and costs $425. and the second hour is $375. Subsequent 30 minute followup visits are $250 and 15 minute followups are $175.
Do you offer video appointmnents?
We do offer telepsychiatry appointments for both initial visits and followups if this is your preference. If you are prescribed a controlled substance you will have to bee seen in the office within 30 days of the initial appointment. You are free to do any combination of in-person and tele-heath visits if this is your preference. There will be some visits when Dr. Beasley will ask for the appointment to online rather than in-person due to other clinical responsibilities.
Q. Do you take insurance?
A. We are not in network with any insurance plans and therefore can not bill your insurance for you. We can however give you a receipt for the services provided which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement or bill your flex spending (FSA) card.
Q. Where are you located?
A. Our office is located in the Tuckahoe area of Richmond near the intersection of I-64 and North Parham Rd. There is an abundance of free parking in the parking lot.
Q. How will I get my prescription?
A. We will send your prescription to your local pharmacy, and you will be able to pick it up at your convenience. You will be able to use your insurance at the pharmacy for the cost of any medication.
Q. How long will I be on MEDICATION?
A. This varies substantially from patient to patient. Sometimes several months to a year is sufficient to overcome more acute / situational symptoms. Other situations may require treatment ongoing for a longer period of time. We can give you a more precise timeline for medication during your initial visit.
Q. How often will I need to be seen?
A. The most common frequency our patients are seen is on a monthly basis. However patients often need to be seen more frequently at the beginning of treatment and many patients will be seen less frequently as their symptoms are better controlled.
